Boys Earn Big Win Over Sharon. Girls Battle but fall Short.

On Tuesday April 30th the boys team beat Sharon for the first time in 14 years! It took every single point as the boys took home the 68-67 win!  The entire girls team battled hard but fell short 62-74.
In total there were 38 personal best on the boys team and 44 on the girls team.  Hard work is paying off!

This past Tuesday we traveled to Foxboro to face the always tough Foxboro Warriors.  The boys came out with the 81-54 win while the girls fell 51-85.  Although only the first dual meet of the year there were many awesome performances and we are excited to see these athletes continue to improve and get better!

Boys and Girls Fall to Tough Stoughton Teams

The boys and girls fell to tough and well coached Stoughton teams Friday afternoon.

Boys Final Score: Canton 35 Stoughton 65

Chris Rota ran the tough mile/1000 double and did not disappoint! Running a 1st place 5:09.59 mile and 2nd place 1000 in 3:04.07.
Cam Sanchez ran a career best 55 taking home 1st place in 6.88.
Kyle Downing finished 2nd in the mile (11:24.65) and 1st 2 mile (11:24.65)
Jack Hernon had two third places on the day in the mile (5:12.87) and 2 mile (11:33.23)

We had a great night at the D4 relays!  All of our student athletes competed hard and posted many personal bests!  Every relay was very competitive and our boys 4x200 and LJ relays led the way with championship wins.  It is the 2nd year in a row Canton boys 4x200 are relay meet champions!
