The boys and girls fell to tough and well coached Stoughton teams Friday afternoon.
Boys Final Score: Canton 35 Stoughton 65
Chris Rota ran the tough mile/1000 double and did not disappoint! Running a 1st place 5:09.59 mile and 2nd place 1000 in 3:04.07.
Cam Sanchez ran a career best 55 taking home 1st place in 6.88.
Kyle Downing finished 2nd in the mile (11:24.65) and 1st 2 mile (11:24.65)
Jack Hernon had two third places on the day in the mile (5:12.87) and 2 mile (11:33.23)
Mike Mazzola 3rd place 600 PR (1:34.14)
Junior Sainvil 3rd LJ (19'4") 55 PR (6.94)
Deyontai Dennis 2nd HJ (5'6") 3rd 300 (40.13)
Girls Final Score: Canton 34.33 Stoughton 65.67
Chloe Pennacchio led the way running the tough mile/1000 double and winning both! Mile was in 5:56.01 and 1000 in 3:30.68.
