2019 Outdoor Banquet Recap

When you look at the progress made throughout the season it is impossible to say the season was anything but successful.  It has been an honor and privilege to work with this group of athletes and we as coaches have loved watching them grow and improve every day.

We have seen these young adults not only grow as track& field athletes but also as people. New friendships were formed, unknown talents found, strangers have turned into teammates, and teammates have turned into family.

Majority of our athletes here drastically improved their times/distances from their first meet to their last.  We had 18 athletes compete at divisionals in individual events and relays, two individuals moved on to All States, and 6 ladies compete at the MSTCA Heptathlon.

There were many bright spots this season and continuing and expanding on those positives will ensure that the team will continue to progress and see much success in the future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our student athletes this season. Good luck to our amazing senior class as they embark on their next journey.
